In addition to a complete in-house E6 processing and colour management facility, MWA Viewfinder operate three state of the art drum scanners to provide for the highest level of colour scanning services, providing customers with a pre-press service that exceeds industry standards. MWA Viewfinder also offer a complete photo manipulation and design service with on-site graphics, photo editing, and web design specialists
Drum Scanning
MWAViewfinder use high-end drum scanners operated by experienced professionals to scan your images (transparency, negative and artwork originals) to suit a variety of requirements. Items above A4 size (29.7 x 21cm) will have to be photographed. All scans (except multimedia) are supplied as TIFF files.
These scans are of the highest quality colour, density, contrast and sharpness issues are addressed along with dust removed.
We will match any job-specific file requirements you may have although if unspecified all scans will be done at 300 dpi. Additional work required (such as removal of scratch, scuff or water-damage marks) will be charged as retouching system time.

Colour Profiling
To ensure the best reproduction of all imagery, we provide image colour profiling services using our range of colour calibrated monitors.
Calibration can be customised to your output devices if required, or generically to cover a range of outputs.
